For us at Charles Games, March means one thing: Beecarbonize’s first birthday! And to celebrate properly, we have made something for you too :)

Yes, unbelievable. The game that defined 2023 for us turns one. Released in March 2023, Beecarbonize was more successful than we had imagined, with new players coming as we speak. Thank you, everybody!

A big anniversary means big gifts. That brings me to the highlight of this newsletter - a free anniversary digital artbook!

I think I’ll let my Steam review do the talking regarding this indie gem by an Italian developer EYEGUYS:

Amused, moved, flabbergasted how this gem of a game overflowing with singular personality is overlooked. Combines earnest feels of post-covid lost queer generation with motifs of foreclosed futures, often violent identity forming, memory/past hierarchies binding the present. A game with such a signular personality both aesthetically and thematically, it utilizes visual novel form to the fullest with scintillating scenes. Myth meets political precarity.
