Hi and hello!
I hope you are enjoying the end of summer! We definitely are, as thanks to you, we have now more than 90 000 players on Steam, which means over 170 000 players in total across all devices. That is huge and we are immensely grateful! ๐Ÿ’š

But that is not all! To celebrate it, we are holding our first. Ever.

Fan art contest! ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐ŸŽจ

All kinds of art are welcome and there is time until August 28th for you to submit them!

Head over Steam (but of course everybody everywhere is invited) for full info about all the prizes, but they include special stickers, game codes and more.

As you might now, we are finalists in the E.on Energy Globe Awards, able to snatch a 500 000 CZK prize, which, needless to say, would greatly help us with to keep pushing Beecarbonize forward with new stuff.

Help us translate Beecarbonize! ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ

From the start we wanted to make Beecarbonize as accessible as possible to people all around the world, so it can keep on spreading the climate message, opening eyes of players to possible solutions to our ecological crisis.

And to be honest, with our small team, tight budget and the fact that Beecarbonize is forever free means that our resources are limited. So we are turning towards you โ€“ our great community!

We are looking for volunteers that could help us translate the game into Spanish, French and Brazilian Portugese. Big language families that will broaden the audience significantly. And we canโ€™t do it without you!

It is around 5 pages of text, so not that long.

Last, but not least, a personal tip by one of me, Ondrej. He F*cked the Girl Out of Me is a harrowingly sincere and layered account of ones trauma, in a free game. Queerness meets sex work meets self-hatred in an adventure that is not a pleasant play per se, but deeply moving and important. It was for some time out on Itch.io, but now it is on Steam, too! So show the developer Taylor McCue some love!
