Playing Prague hits 10k, exclusive We Grew Up in War art, plants & summer tips
News from the studio, new friends, new reveals.
Hi everyone!
Since it’s nearly 30 degrees in Prague, and it is hard to write long newsletters (moreover to read them!), I’l be brief – especially since we have some big news coming very soon.
But one thing at a time!
If you have any feedback on this newsletter, if you want to see some type of content more often or perhaps some less, let me know at [email protected]. Thanks!
Playing Prague has over 10,000 players
Our newest relaxing puzzle game set in historical Prague has been making some waves. On iOS and Android, it has now been downloaded over ten thousand times.

Thank you to everybody who played it and if you did, please leave a review.
The number of reviews directly impacts how visible the game is. And the more visible it will be, the more likely it is to get new levels and other expansions. So, since many of you asked: we’re thinking about them, but they are still subject to how well the base game does. So by reviewing, you’ll help us a lot.
The mobile game is 100% free:
We Grew Up in War reveal soon
Despite all the love we poured into honoring Prague, we’ve been steadily working on our next major release, possibly the biggest one since Svoboda 1945: narrative adventure We Grew Up in War about kids from Ukraine, Bosnia and Syria.
Specifically, the game is participating in the Secret Sauce showcase. Alongside a bunch of other great games, we’ll be showing a brand-new teaser featuring previously unseen chapter of the game. So a lot of brand new material, a big moment for us.
To tease it a bit, here’s some art:

Do you have a hunch which country this chapter will take place in? Perhaps, let us know on our Discord.
Lately, we’ve been experimenting with some new marketing strategies to get people to notice the game. And while it is all well and good, nothing beats fans wishlisting the game.
So if you haven’t yet, please do click that wishlist button on Steam. It’s gonna help us immensely.
We got plants !
We switched offices a while ago and as we’re getting properly settled, we got new green friends. 🌱 And we felt the need to share them with you all:
People seem to like Playing Prague
We’re never sure what our fans will say about any of our new releases. And it is always a great relief to find out that they do in fact like them. And, fortunately, it was the story with Playing Prague as well. We’re grateful that people like our next foray into puzzle games. Below are just a few nice reviews we collected over the last two weeks.
“Funny, smart and beautiful - just a joy to play!”
"Totally awesome. Thought-out, meticulously made and free as well.”
“Prague was never so cute, by the way.”
“Genuinely such a lovely game, with a lot of heart and atmosphere.”
“Even though I'm from Prague, while building the towers in the game I learned a little more about their history.”
Thank you so much, everyone! 🙏
Summer tip: Czech co-op Silicomrades is out

We’ve been following the work of our friends, the Outside the Fox team for seven years. And now they’ve finally did it and released their first game! It’s called Silicomrades, and judging from the first reviews, this pencil-drawn co-op couch multiplayer shooter about broken robots fighting evil bureaucratic regime is pretty good. So if you want a reason to hang out inside when the sun is blazing hot, invite a friend and give Silicomrades a shot. It’s on Steam. ⚙️
And that’s a wrap! Do you have any more summer tips, our Discord and my inbox is always open.
Best wishes and don’t forget the sunscreen!
